AFO Guides Visit Melbourne and Prepare For Season Ahead

Australian Flyfishing Outfitter's Dave Bradley and Clint Issac will be in-store at The Flyfisher in Melbourne and available for a chat this Tuesday (11th March) from 1pm. Few Aussies can claim to be as experienced in saltwater as Dave and Clint. Both are well travelled and have guided extensively throughout Australia's most popular saltwater fly fishing destinations and paid particular attention to the pristine waters of Hinchinbrook, south of Cairns. If you have any questions about saltwater destinations or techniques, don't miss this opportunity to meet and with Dave and Clint. For more information CLICK HERE

It's the wet season in far northern Queensland and as the next cyclone approaches the coastline, weather is not prime to be out fishing. However, this is the tropics and without the wet season and the tropical lows we wouldn't have the magnificent fishery that we do. Apart from holidaying with family and all the necessary arrangements for the guiding season ahead, the AFO crew generally get a chance to get out for a fish themselves but in the sort of weather we're experiencing now, we tie flies, tidy up loose ends and prep boats and trailers so the year ahead is trouble free.

We are looking forward to a successful guiding season ahead and posting up some regular blogs to FlyStream.
