Vision Onkii II Fly Rods

by Vision
$599.95

A seriously good rod for the money that punches well above its weight. Light in hand, smooth to cast, and versatile enough to cover just about everything you’ll do in freshwater.

  • Medium-fast action that blends feel with power
  • High-modulus 40T graphite—light, responsive, and durable
  • Unsanded blank finish to reduce weight and maximise performance
  • Loads easily at short to mid range, but still carries line when needed
  • Handles multi-fly rigs and heavier setups without folding
  • Quality cork handle and clean, low-weight build
  • Four-piece design for easy travel
  • Full line-up that covers everything from freshwater through to light saltwater in Australia
  • The new version of the original Onki—lighter and more responsive than the first generation
  • Korean-made with excellent build consistency

The Onki II is one of those rods that just makes fishing easier. It loads cleanly, tracks well, and gives you enough feel to fish light tippets, while still having the backbone to push casts into the wind or turn fish when it matters. It’s a genuine step forward from the first-gen Onki, with a crisper, lighter blank and more punch when you need it.

On the water, it’s right at home fishing dries, nymphs, or a team of flies. Think Goulburn nymphing, Tassie lake edges, or even stepping into light saltwater work when needed. Forgiving enough for newer anglers, but with enough performance to keep experienced fishos happy.

Who is this rod for?
Anyone wanting a proper all-round fly rod that delivers high-end feel without the high-end price tag.
