Like their nylon tippet, the fluorocarbon spools are a misty brown polycarbonate large arbor spool, which allows for low material memory and easy handling in a stackable, compact design. They also feature TroutHunter’s premium rubber tippet tender which protect the tippet and allow for size identification. Available in 0X through 6X on 50-meter spools.

Quality tippet for the price point it sits in. It’s not waxy so knots seat well, without having to tie something out of the ordinary. Trout hunter fluorocarbon also doesn’t go opaque if stored for longer periods of time.

Trout hunter fluorocarbon is great but wouldn’t touch the nylon again. Have had two spools from two different shops and they are both throw aways. Week and cannot stand any stretch to either line or knots
