Spent Mayfly

After a mayfly mates, it dies and often falls into the water. We call this a ‘spent’ mayfly. Its life is over, but that doesn’t mean that it isn’t a delicious morsel for a hungry trout. Cast this fly into the fray and tempt those big, sipping browns.
