The RS Wader represents Skwala’s rethink of how technical fishing waders should fit and perform. Rather than building around the bulky shapes anglers have been used to for decades, the RS focuses on mobility, durability, and comfort so the wader moves naturally with your body when wading or hiking.
The shell uses a durable 4-layer waterproof and breathable laminate paired with a dense microfiber face fabric designed to resist abrasion and punctures from rocks, timber, and general river abuse. Inside, the fabric remains comfortable against the body while still allowing moisture to escape during active fishing.
A waterproof centre zip makes getting in and out easy while also providing ventilation when walking between spots. The RS also features a buckle-less shoulder harness that spreads weight evenly across the shoulders, along with an integrated lumbar-support belt that helps stabilise the lower back when wading strong current or covering distance along the river.
The articulated leg pattern and fourchette seam construction further improve freedom of movement, making it easier to scramble over rocks, climb banks, or hike into remote water without the restriction that traditional waders often create.
