Impulse buy that doesn’t live up

I’m a sucker for the Simms brand having owned guide boots and the matching guide pliers. I thought it would be neat to have the matching set of nippers.
They just don’t work for superfine applications.
Often struggling to cut 8lb Fluro. Now I’m talking super super fine tag ends, but that is exactly what they’re for. Trimming tag ends as tight as possible.
They just don’t do anything a $10 set won’t do except look cool with the matching pliers.
