Simms Guide Guard Neoprene Wading Socks

by Simms

Wading boots are a wide cut to accommodate the thickness of a neoprene sock. If you plan on wearing the same boots wet wading as you do/will with waders, you'll need something to pack out the boot. These neoprene socks are the same thickness as a pair of Simms waders (which is thicker than most). They're comfortable and they'll keep out debris. A must for wet wading.

Step up your wet-wading regime in Simms’ new go-anywhere Guard Socks, with built-in gravel guards and bolstered abrasion resistance. Features include an improved design for easy on/off use, added comfort via anatomically correct left and right stocking feet, and a precise fit that fills out wading boots thanks to generous 3.5mm neoprene construction.

  • Improved design allows for easier on/ off
  • Anatomically correct left/right stocking feet
  • 3.5mm neoprene fills out your wading boots
  • Abrasion resistant textured nylon jersey for durability & no-slip
  • Molded Boot hook tab

Neoprene socks

I always wet wade when fishing rivers. These neoprene socks aren’t waterproof, and nor are they meant to be. The purpose of them is to add comfort to your feet and to keep small rocks and sand out of your boots. They do this superbly as well as giving some level of snake bite protection to your lower shins. Worn with or without socks they’re great. They’re like walking on a cloud.

Exactly what I expected so very happy with it
