The G3Z Pro takes everything in the new G3 Pro and adds a waterproof TIZIP centre front zip. That makes it easier to get in and out of, easier to deal with a mid session toilet stop, and much easier to vent when you're walking a long way between pools on a warm day.
Underneath, it's the same rebuilt fabric package as the G3 Pro. The lower legs and seat use Simms' four layer GORE TEX Pro shell, built for high resistance to pinhole punctures where waders take the most abuse. The upper is a breathable three layer GORE TEX fabric that keeps you dry without overheating.
This wader suits flyfishers who spend long days on the water and want the toughness of the G3 Pro with the convenience of a zip. If you fish back country streams in summer, wade big rivers in winter, or just want waders that are easier to live with, the G3Z is worth a look.
