The Mega uses Primal’s Compressed Carbon Chain technology together with Ultra Light Helical Core and Amplified Nano Resin. The result is a fast, responsive saltwater rod with quick recovery and plenty of power for casting bigger flies, dealing with wind and putting pressure on strong fish.
The Lamson Liquid Max is a great match for the Mega CCC. Built specifically for saltwater, it features Lamson’s powerful Cobalt Drag System with an IPX8 waterproof rating, Ultra Large Arbor and a large, easy to grip drag knob. There’s plenty of stopping power for serious saltwater flyfishing.
The outfit is finished with an Airflo Superflo Flats Master Sink Tip fly line and 30lb FlyLab Dacron backing, professionally spooled and ready to fish. The sink tip helps get the fly below the surface while maintaining good contact, making it a versatile line for flats, estuaries and tropical saltwater fishing.

The 8 weight is the most versatile option for Australian saltwater flyfishing. It’s ideal for bream, flathead, bonefish and general flats and estuary fishing.
The 9 weight gives you extra power for larger flies, stronger wind and bigger fish. It’s a great choice for queenfish, smaller trevally and general tropical saltwater fishing.
The 10 weight is ideal for permit, big barramundi and larger pelagics. It gives you the extra power needed to cast bigger flies, handle stronger fish and apply more pressure when it counts.
