This soft, pliable tungsten weight behaves a bit like Blu-Tack, allowing you to add exactly the amount of weight you need to your rig. Pinch off a small piece, mould it into place, and fine-tune your depth without constantly changing flies, split shot or leaders.
It can be applied to your fly or leader, though when adding it to your leader it’s best placed over a knot or against an attached split shot to help prevent it slipping. It’s ideal for nymphing, lake fishing, wet flies, or any situation where you need to dial in your sink rate and get your fly into the feeding zone.
