Guided Day Flyfishing Victoria, Tasmania, or The Snowy Mountains

If you’re reading this then you might be considering a guided experience. I have had a large break since I last fly fished and knew I needed a refresher. I was considering this package and eventually booked. The young man on the phone was exceptional at customer service and matched me with Karen Brooks. I had no idea what a treat I was in for. I had one day wading followed by a day drifting. Karen patiently and kindly guided me through all aspects from setting up my rod and reel and casting help knots help and I got about flies tied on together. Over two days I landed 8 trout and had an absolute ball. Karen was perfect for me and was patient and kind and overall humble. I had no idea how much experience and success she had had internationally. A true gem who deserves a bit more publicity so fly fishing people find out about her and learn from her experiences. She is a really valuable resource.
I have had a fantastic trip and hope to return next year. A couple of pics of the biggest and smallest drifting fish. Too busy for photos on wading day. Thanks Karen I will be smiling for a long time your days were good medicine for me. Thanks for sharing your passion and knowledge of fly fishing.
