The Dad's Demoiselle is a dry fly designed to imitate the bright blue adult damselflies commonly seen hovering over lakes and stillwaters during the warmer months. It's a great pattern to have in your box when trout are feeding on adult damsels around the surface.
Fish it near weed beds, lake margins and areas where damselflies are active. Particularly effective when trout are looking up and taking adult insects from the surface.
