The Fly Caddy XL is one of those bits of kit you don’t realise you need until you start using it. Perfect for the grab-and-go style of fishing — chuck a handful of flies on the patch, clip it to your shirt or pack, and you’re away. The deeper foam handles bulkier bugs, streamers and salt patterns better than the standard size, and the docking system means you’re not losing flies to the footwell of the car or the bottom of the boat. Light, tough and way more useful than a traditional patch, especially for quick missions or when you want a working selection separate from your main box. We rate it.

After use, simply clip the system into the included silicone dock which sticks to your cooler, car visor, or any other hard surface with 3M adhesive backing. Your flies will stay safe, dry, and ready for your next session.

When adhering dock to surface:

• Be sure to first wipe the hard surface clean to ensure optimal adhesion of dock. We recommend using an alcoholic wipe or something similar for maximum adhesion.
• The 3M adhesive on the back of the dock is designed to be non-removeable.
