The Vibram® sole gives you confidence on slippery rocks, and the lightweight build means you're not dragging around bricks. Combining the lightweight comfort of a hiking boot with the wet traction and support of a wading boot, Carbon will help you find your own fishing. Innovative and exclusive tri-tiered, stair-step, lug pattern we developed with Vibram® provides solid footing across a range of terrain. Rockered, dual-density EVA midsoles offer additional cushion and feel to reduce fatigue and improve footing on hikes, while Figure-8 ESS rock plates give you superior protection and torsional stability when wading uneven rivers. “Burrito-wrap” tongue locks your foot into place improving contact with the boot and reducing heel slippage. Molded toecap protects your feet from rocks and other obstacles. Bonded seams, double lasting, and TPU reinforced uppers give Carbon boots the added bomber durability wading boots need to withstand the rigors of serious wading. Skwala boots accommodate neoprene booties or wading socks, so please use the shoe size you choose for other athletic footwear, half sizes should size up. ie. If you're a Simms or Ovis Size 11, you'll wear a size 10 Skwala.
