Simms Guide Guard Neoprene Wading Socks

by Simms
$99.95

Wading boots are a wide cut to accommodate the thickness of a neoprene sock. If you plan on wearing the same boots wet wading as you do/will with waders, you'll need something to pack out the boot. These neoprene socks are the same thickness as a pair of Simms waders (which is thicker than most). They're comfortable and they'll keep out debris. A must for wet wading.

Comfort

Wet wading can get a bit precarious at times, but at least my toes are warm (ish) and I get the full support of dedicated wading boots.

Neoprene socks

I always wet wade when fishing rivers. These neoprene socks aren’t waterproof, and nor are they meant to be. The purpose of them is to add comfort to your feet and to keep small rocks and sand out of your boots. They do this superbly as well as giving some level of snake bite protection to your lower shins. Worn with or without socks they’re great. They’re like walking on a cloud.
