Beech Chartreuse Toad

Description

A variation on the classic Tarpon Toad fly tied on Gamakatsu SL12S hooks and sporting a nylon weed guard. Designed to suspend in the water column and move enticingly in the water without the angler having to strip the fly out of the strike zone, this pattern is perfect for barramundi, saratoga and jacks in the snags. Also excellent for other species that like to stalk their prey carefully before striking such as kingfish and Murray cod.

Our View

The toad is a particularly good fly for exotic tarpon trips and for sight casting to barra. Carry in a range of colors.
