KJ Olive Grub

This olive bushy grub pattern imitates a huge variety of caddis nymphs. The olive colour and the bushy body create awesome texture in the water that fish absolutely love. A great fly for traditional and European nymphing.

Most food sources in rivers are relatively similar, with caddis - in all it's guises - being the most prolific. This Olive Grub pattern designed by Kieron Jenkins imitates a case-less caddis perfectly and has been a best selling pattern for many reason, but most importantly, it simply catches fish. Use this fly on the point of a French or Czech nymphing setup in the larger sizes, or in the smaller sizes it can be easily fished under an indicator.
