Nymphmaniac rods have been designed together with some of the best competition anglers in Europe including Jarkko Suominen, Cato Monsen, Jan Kubala and David Ferreras. Nymphmaniac meets the requirements of the most demanding anglers within a reasonable price range.

These rods have been designed to be as light and as easy to handle as possible.

The blank dampens immediately after stopping when casting which is extremely important for sustaining proper contact and a feel for light nymphs.

"The Nymphmaniac 10 '#3 is a versatile rod that can be used in all circumstances. Perfect for nymphing, it is also an ideal reference when you want to take only one rod to alternate flyfishing techniques : it is also perfect for dry flyfishing or dropper fishing in small to medium sized rivers. It is a very light rod whose conicity and fineness differentiate it from other models on the market. The graduations start at the end of the butt and are placed every 3.9", up to 19.7", which is very useful for making leaders or measuring fish. In hand, it has a soft action, especially in its upper half, which makes it possible to cast very small nymphs at a good distance and to offer a good behavior with small to medium sized fish. I bought the 2wt 11ft , amazing rod for light nymphing , super sensitive and handles very light tippets like .08mm (9x) easily. The action is super smooth when playing fish also. Compared to other rods on the market and the price range it sits there’s no wonder its fished by so many around the world .

Rod is super light but not much tippet protection

Love the rod and the light feel. Vs my T&T same weight it is 18 g lighter. The part I didn’t like is that thr rod doesn’t protect very well with head shakes of the fish. That part right after the fish is hooked. The rod feels stiff when the fish make those first 5-10 secs of violent runs. I lost a couple of fish in the beginning until I adjusted for that. The t&t feels like a smooth bmw series 7 compared to that. It’s robust and smooth in protecting tippet.

The rod is everything I expected from Vision. Well built,super sensitive and has a good balance with the vision hero reel. Seems more like a 2wt than a 3wt but can handle bigger hook ups.
