Frog hair is the perfect blend of supple and strong..less break offs than any tippet I've ever used. I buy the guide spools because they offer value for money, and I change my tippet all the time. When I think of all the expense in getting to a trip, and what people pay me to guide them, I have to use the best. Accidental break offs are unforgiveable.
Frogs Hair tippet is noticeably more subtle than some other tippets. But very importantly for me is how knots seat, when tied with it. With some fluorocarbon I have had to tie different knots to my regulars to get knots to seat, and not slip or even undie when put under strain. A simple, standard clinch knot is all you need when using Frogs Hair fluorocarbon. No hesitation in recommending.
