AERO DRY WING
Hollowed polypropylene wing material is lighter than water (specific gravity: 0.68), and it never absorbs water. This is an ideal winging material that is also useful for bodies.
Was looking for an alt to CDC to be used as wing on f’fly’s.
Product is OK but not as effective as I hoped for this purpose.
I use this material extensively for the posts for parachute hackled flies. It floats as advertised and it is particularly good on small flies (#18 and #20 sizes). I find the standard material slightly easier to handle than the fine stuff. Recommended.
