Simms Rogue Fleece Hoody

by Simms

Our View

Warm, soft and somewhat wind and water repellent. A quality, stylish hoody for nature and city.

Sometimes the difference between chasing fall-run chromers all day and staying at home stuck inside is having the right hoody. The Rogue Fleece Hoody fits that bill with soft, durable polyester fleece treated with a DWR water-resistant finish and UPF 50 for sun protection. When things get chilly, a three-panel, ergonomic hood and fleece-backed hand warmer pockets come to the rescue.

  • 3‐panel, ergonomic hood
  • 1 zippered fly‐box compatible chest pocket with cordport
  • 2 fleece‐backed hand‐warmer pockets
  • Rib‐knit at hem & cuffs
  • YKK® Vislon® center‐front zipper
FABRIC TECH:100% polyester face & fleece back
All Simms outerwear features nylon YKK® zippers to minimize corrosion and provide high performing, durable wear.
At Simms, sun protection is a critical component of our sportswear offering.  Through a combination of fabric construction, design and finish, we offer a wide range of clothing that features a minimum UPF of 30 (very good) up to UPF of 50 (excellent).  UPF stands for Ultraviolet Protection Factor and indicates how much of the sun's UV radiation is absorbed.  A fabric with a rating of 50 will allow only 1/50th of the sun's UV rays to pass through.  This means the fabric will reduce your skin's UV radiation exposure significantly.  All of our UPF finishes last the life of the garment, an industry standard of 30 washings.

These Hoodies are great .
My only complaint is in the design , more technical pockets with Zippers Seam Sealed would be a great benefit to Fly Anglers , we are always wading Lake edges and. Streams and stuff can fall out of these pockets , the chest pocket is adequate .
As a wind stopper this jacket is great , I live and fish in the Snowy Mountains , I operate boats for my Guiding business and they cut the wind when I take clients into various bays in Lake Eucumbene in my boats .
