That makes it easier to get in and out of, easier to deal with a mid session toilet stop, and much easier to vent when you're walking a long way between pools on a warm day.

Underneath, it's the same rebuilt fabric package as the G3 Pro. The lower legs and seat use Simms' four layer GORE TEX Pro shell, built for high resistance to pinhole punctures where waders take the most abuse. The upper is a breathable three layer GORE TEX fabric that keeps you dry without overheating.

This wader suits flyfishers who spend long days on the water and want the toughness of the G3 Pro with the convenience of a zip. If you fish back country streams in summer, wade big rivers in winter, or just want waders that are easier to live with, the G3Z is worth a look.

Key features

Waterproof TIZIP centre front zip for easy entry, exit and venting

Four layer GORE TEX Pro lower leg and seat for durability and puncture resistance

Breathable three layer GORE TEX upper

Two stretch YKK zippered chest pockets that fit fly boxes

Zippered handwarmer pockets lined with upgraded micro fleece that dries quickly

Self gathering back yoke for better movement and room to layer underneath

Upgraded suspenders with better breathability, an ergonomic fit and opposing buckles for easy waist high conversion

Simms' signature front and back leg seams for a better fit and less wear

Abrasion resistant integrated gravel guards

Simms' longest lasting compression resistant neoprene stockingfoot with antimicrobial treatment

Neoprene wading belt included, with a low profile back belt loop to keep it in place

Colour: Dark Elkhorn

Sizes: S, MS, M, MK, LS, L, LK, LL, XL

The G3Z comes in fewer sizes than the standard G3 Pro, so use our Wader Size Finder carefully.
