Plenty of guides and serious flyfishers have spent years in them. For 2026, Simms rebuilt it from the fabric up, and the new G3 Pro is the toughest and most breathable G3 they've made.

The big change is the fabric. The lower legs and seat, where waders take the most punishment, now use Simms' four layer GORE TEX Pro shell. It's built for high resistance to pinhole punctures and is made without added PFAS. The upper is a breathable three layer GORE TEX fabric, so you stay dry without cooking on a long walk back to the car.

These are for people who fish a lot. If you're bush bashing to the next pool, kneeling on rocky banks, wading the Goulburn all weekend or guiding day after day, the G3 Pro is built for exactly that.

Key features

Four layer GORE TEX Pro lower leg and seat for durability and puncture resistance

Breathable three layer GORE TEX upper

Two top access stretch chest pockets that fit most thin fly boxes, with docking stations for tools

Zippered passthrough handwarmer pockets lined with upgraded micro fleece that dries quickly

Self gathering back yoke for better movement and room to layer underneath in winter

Upgraded suspenders with better breathability, an ergonomic fit and opposing buckles for easy waist high conversion

Simms' signature front and back leg seams for a better fit and less wear

Abrasion resistant integrated gravel guards

Simms' longest lasting compression resistant neoprene stockingfoot with antimicrobial treatment

Neoprene wading belt included, with a low profile back belt loop to keep it in place

Colour: Dark Elkhorn

Sizes: S, SK, MS, M, MK, MKS, ML, LS, L (9 to 11), L (12 to 13), LKS, LK, XL, XLS, XLK, XLL, XXL

Simms offers a wide range of sizes, so it's worth getting the fit right.
